I'm new to REH and Conan as well; familiar through the films and Savage Sword of Conan for the most part. I'm glad Conan was saved from magazine obscurity by other writers. I'm not a purist at all though and I can see how some may balk at the writings of the Robert Jordan-esque Conan or others. REH's style and skill are apparent.
