I grew up with Bettie Page. She was on every pin-up post card and calendar in the '50's and '60's. I fell in (childhood) love over a hundred times and never knew till recently it was always with the same woman. Rest in Light Perpetual Bettie, you brought a 1,000 smiles to my lips....

I would love some more information. I am planing on contacting the pastor of the church and asking for permision to investigate it and all surrounding areas. I could use as much information anyone possibly has. Since my birthday is sunday and it will be the day of christ. Im making my first ever trip out there friday night. If you have any information or are as curious as i am. Join me there. Please do not come if your not serious or are planing on destroying something. We will be protected if there is a "occult" there. if you just have information. contact me on my cell at 404 671 6877. Thank you.

The actual satanic church was located down
The trails past the baptist church. It was an
Old blue and white single wide trailer.I have
Been back there in a four wheel drive many timed
When I was younger.I'm sure that trailer is
Gone now. But,from all I was told while I was in
High school, the trailer is where the satanic
Worship took place.Several of the people that
Would go there went to school with me.

I miss vampires in tv or film like Strahd. You know, the ones who will tear your heart out because you get in their way of their happiness.

Too much talky-feelie style vampires who sparkle is ruining a great undead race.

Teens Charged with Church Vandalism
Updated: Friday, 24 Apr 2009, 11:14 PM EDT
Published : Friday, 24 Apr 2009, 5:16 PM EDT

Chris Shaw
CANTON, Ga. (MyFOX Atlanta) -- -

Canton police said a group of teenagers caused more than $100,000 worth of damage to 122-year-old Cherokee County church.

Some of the tombstones in the cemetery are cracked, some pushed over and the rest are in pieces.

"There's just no excuse for it. No excuse. None," said Cherokee County Sheriff Major Ron Hunton.

Investigators said a group of teenaged vandals damaged about 40 tombstones at the cemetery across the street from New Hightower Baptist Church.

"Also entered the church. They burned some church hymnals," said Hunton. "Tore some walls, tore some air ducting out of the church."

Hunton said the teens, ages 14 to 16, turned themselves in on Thursday. They are charged with burglary, vandalism of a place of worship, arson and criminal damage to property.

"You see kids out there tearing things up. It's just when you see a church like this, particularly a cemetery, you just have to ask yourself why? Why would somebody do this?" said Hunton.

Investigators don't have that answer. The church is known in some circles as "Hell's Church" for allegedly being haunted and is linked to one of Georgia's most infamous murders. That name comes from the belief of some that New Hightower is haunted.

In 1990, a group of vandals burned the building down by throwing homemade fire bombs through the window. The reason was they wrongly thought the congregation was devil worshipers.

With no motive this time around, church members can only wonder why the path of destruction once again goes through their place of worship.

All six suspects face several charges, including felony vandalism to a place of worship. They're being held in juvenile detention.
